An Italian Pit Stop

March 29, 2014

As part of another adventure and another life, I un-regretfully am off to Ghana for three months. To begin the process of acclimation, I decided to pit stop in Chiavari to visit Nonna and get used to the time difference. I was welcomed by warm, sunny weather and the Mercatino dei Sapori (Taste Market) that lines the streets on the final weekend of every month. In the picture below, Nonna waits for some Prosciutto Toscano that we will later have for lunch with Zia Elda (my great-aunt and fellow Tuscan ham lover). Check out the Yve Limoncello instagram for more photos from the market and my arrival.

I’ll be here another week and will be joined by some family and friends in a couple days. While here, I’ll be basking in cappuccinos, naps and food. All of which will assuredly be properly documented.

What would you like to see in a virtual photo tour? Post your request in the comments below!

Ciao for now.
