The perfect cocktail to accompany sparklers and bonfires during a thunderstorm. A (new) New Year’s Tradition.


1.5 oz. Rose’s Grenadine
1/2 oz. Yvelise Meyer Limoncello
1 bottle Freixenet Cava
Dash of Peychaud’s Bitters
1 Rosemary Sprig
Course Grain Sugar


After sugaring the rim of a highball glass, fill halfway with ice. Pour in Grenadine. Introduce the Limoncello gently by pouring it over an upside down spoon. Using the same method, slowly pour the Cava until the glass is nearly fill creating a separation of liquid. Dash in your bitters and add the rosemary. Serve immediately.
